Progressive Care Nurse New

Job Title: RN PCU-Float

Location:Rochester, Michigan, 48307

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift:12X3-hours

Schedule: Nights

Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver and coordinate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
• Identify variances from patient goals and collaborate on implementing appropriate solutions.
• Float between departments based on staffing and patient care needs.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience Preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Preferred Previous experience in a float pool or progressive care environment
